International delegates attending WPAWP 2026 may apply for e-Conference Visa to enter India.
We strongly recommend participants to apply for the e-Conference Visa, as this is the official category for attendance at academic events and conferences. To support the e-Conference Visa application, all foreign delegates will be required to fill out a mandatory form (under User profile on the registration dashboard), following which the organizers will obtain the necessary political clearance from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India.
Delegates are encouraged to review the latest guidelines and apply through the official Indian Government portal for e-Visa applications here https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html.
A conference visa is a specialized travel permit provided by a country's government to individuals intending to attend conferences, seminars, workshops, or similar events hosted within that country.
